The Kessler Miller Farm strives to enrich South Carolina’s Jewish community and beyond by providing locally and sustainably raised kosher animal products. From chicken to egg, birth to slaughter, we are careful to ask how each of our decisions on the farm affect not only the quality of our product, but also the health of our acreage’s ecosystem. That means no pesticides, no herbicides, no antibiotics, and no hormones. Our farm is fueled by as many recycled inputs as we can gather (food waste, manure, rain-water, to name a few), and we are working toward building a completely self-sustained operation.
We believe that truly nutritious food is only as healthy as the farm it comes from, and as South Carolina’s first Kosher farm we guarantee a commitment to the highest standards of animal welfare and land stewardship. Our operation is completely transparent, and we invite you to come visit us and learn where your food comes from. Heck, roll up your sleeves and help out for a day.
